Nexus is the newest release by Yuval Noah Harari.

It analyses the history of information, the it used to be shared and how technological advances changed the way we learn and communicate.

There had been a lot of talks about information gathering via scraping for Large Language Models. LLMs generate information by scraping the whole web. This is made possible thanks to the web's openness. To gather the information from a website with the help of a scraper is very elementary. A very simple Python program can do this. Even though, scraping has been quite normalised its ethics remain questionable.

I had a great time reading this thought provoking book. I learned quite a deal about the history of information exchange and how stories have changed the course of human history. The ethics of scrapping still remain especially now, which is used for content creation.
